Fresh news for Germinal Bio: a new organic fifth range product line is coming

We have always been committed to environmental sustainability and guarantee 100% recyclability of our packaging. All our packaging is always ready for recycling, but it is also a plastic and biodegradable plastic bag.
It is an innovative material composed of vegetable substances, totally biodegradable and compostable (according to the European standard UNI EN 13432) and certified "OK Compost".
Thanks to its characteristics, this material, after use, can be disposed of in use and composted: at the end of its life cycle, therefore, it returns to the earth; all this reduces the environmental impact.
Another important novelty that sees us more and more attentive protagonists towards the Protection of the Environment!

From 27th to 30th June, Germinal Bio will attend the Gluten Free fair in Barcelona sponsoring the Kids Zone.

BCN Gluten FREE is a fair dedicated to gluten-free world that was born in 2015 with the aim of transforming Barcelona into the European capital of gluten-free food. In a 5,000 m² area, BCN Gluten FREE 2019 will have more than 100 national and international exhibitors and over 10,000 visitors. In addition, the International Celiac Disease Day will be celebrated at this international fair.

Germinal Bio will be the sponsor of the area dedicated to kids that will receive our gluten-free biscuits.

On 9th June Germinal Bio attended the SIN GLU10 Race organized in Madrid by the Association of Celiac and Gluten Sensitive.

The race included different distances of 10km and 5km to encourage the participation of a lot of people. For the little ones, there was a 2.5km Family march, in which people of all ages could participate.

The objective of the initiative was to gather all the celiac people and invite the rest of the population to participate at this event. The race was a meeting point for disseminate information on gluten-free diet and sports in the community.

All participants of the race had a package of gluten-free Germinal Bio cookies to thank them for their effort.

Gruppo Germinal will attend THAIFEX - World of Food Asia in Bangkok from 28th May to 1st June.
As the region’s largest food and beverage trade show, THAIFEX attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from around the world every year. Since now this international show counts more than 2,537exhibitors from 41 International Groups.

Once more this year Gruppo Germinal will be attending PLMA- “World of Private Label” International Trade Show-  that is taking place in Amsterdam at RAI.
During this prestigious showcase, our Organic Veggie Lasagna has been selected for “New Product Expo”: an area that displays the latest innovations submitted by exhibitors

Germinal Bio won the Dolci Salati & Consumi Awards with the Quinoa & Chia Crackers and Quinoa & Curcuma Crackers.
These crackers are our new savoury products that enrich the Gluten Free Line. They won the "Product innovation" category, thanks to the innovative formulation and their ability to respond to new market trends meeting the needs of our consumers.
The award will be take place during Cibus Connect 2019.

Germinal Bio supports Fridays for Future, the international movement formed by young people and students. It was born from the courage of Greta Thunberg: a Sweden16-year-old girl who awakened the environmental consciences.

This movement aims to raise awareness about the environmental future of our planet, because today climate change is a reality and is already causing impacts and phenomena of anomalous frequency and intensity causing suffering, loss of life, disruption of ecosystems and of biodiversity.

The new year has started with great news: our production plant for the fresh organic, gluten-free and vegan ready meals is characterised by a flexible technology and a high productivity - Creabio - obtained the IFS-Food certification. 

An important goal that is the result of a constant work.
